Lilah Gagne - Visual Artist

Lilah Mae Gagne is a visual artist based in Appalachian Ohio whose practice is an ongoing dialogue between self and landscape, grounded in observation, listening, and reciprocity. She approaches image-making as a form of ceremony, working with natural materials that hold their own agency, alongside personal artifacts and alternative photographic and printmaking processes. Each work becomes an imprint of time and connection, a record of touch, transformation, and mutual witnessing, embracing what emerges from slowness and sensitivity. 

 

Her practice investigates how environment, relationships, and lived experiences shape identity, exploring the ties between the body, the earth, and the invisible forces that bind them, offering a reflection on the expansive worlds she inhabits.
